Song is a fully qualified and experienced Thai therapist and masseuse who trained at The Union of Thai Traditional Medicine Society. She is originally from Bangkok and has a wealth of experience in providing traditional Thai massage for more than seven years in the UK. She built a team offering in-house Wellbeing massage treatments to professional clients mainly in Leeds City Centre as well as managing a massage salon in Ilkley, West Yorkshire.

Song recently moved to Devon and delighted to offer a wider range of traditional Thai massage therapies. These make use of warm aroma oils and hand-made herbal balm, which brings many benefits to the body, It improves blood circulation and stimulates lymphatic systems relieves aching muscle tension, removes toxins from the muscle mass and increases joint mobility and flexibility. It's great for recharging the batteries, both physically and mentally. 

We use a combination of rhythmic acupressure, compression techniques and stretching, which can be gentle and soothing or deep-tissue depending on your requirements. Song will talk to clients to help them decide the best treatments to meet their own particular circumstances and needs.

 1. Traditional Thai Massage with Hot Oil Therapy (Full body also offer deep-tissue massage)

 A full body massage with hot oils and hand-made herbal balm. Using a  combination of rhythmic acupressure, compression techniques and yoga stretching to relieve muscular tension this should help to reduce exhaustion, release tight muscles and promote blood circulation, leaving the entire body totally relaxed. They can be gentle and soothing or deep-tissue depending on your requirements,

2. Back, Neck and Shoulders Massage (also offered as a deep-tissue massage)

Life and work often result in people sitting for extended periods of time in front of computers or similar equipment. This can result in headaches, tired aching muscles, and localized stiffness. The massage focuses on deep layer muscles and pressure points this helps you release stress and tension, refreshing and restoring a sense of serenity. This will help relieve tight muscles, especially in the lower back.

3. Thai Herbal Ball Compress Massage 

Thai herbal ball compress A unique thai therapy treatment to alleviate pain and soothe sore muscles using an organic warm ball of steamed Thai herbs, which is applied on your tissue muscles this allows the medicinal heat to soothe muscle aches, increase lymphatic drainage and blood circulation leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed

Herbal balls from Thailand mainly contain :

lemongrass – turmeric – kaffir lime's peel - phlai - plai -borneo - camphor- tamarind leaf.

4. Thai Foot Reflexology 

Thai Foot Massage is based on the belief that the body contains constantly flowing energy or which unites with reflex points of the feet, calf and lower legs that involves physically stretching and massage. Hands, fingers, thumbs and knuckles as well as a rounded wooden Thai foot massage stick are used to stimulate certain areas of the feet releasing blocked energy within the body and many Sens lines, improving circulation and lymph movement. This helps to balance and restore a healthy flow of energy throughout the body as well.

5. Thai Head Massage, ( With Neck and Shoulder)

Thai Head Massage uses calming acupressure on key points of the head, neck and shoulders to improve blood circulation in the upper body and remove toxins. It helps reduce general discomforts, stress, tension and headaches.

6. Pregnancy Massage (2nd & 3rd trimesters only)

Massage provides both physical and emotional support and eases the aches and pains of the pregnant and postpartum body  

Pregnancy massage is usually offered whilst lying on the side, using several pillows as props to support the pregnant mother and her belly. Massage focuses on the back, arms, and legs, as well as head & scalp massage which can be very relaxing.
